Earlier this week, animal control was called to a Maryland woman's house after she saw something slither on the floor while watching TV.  It turned out to be a black python.

The woman had been living in the apartment for only 2 months so it is feasible that the snake was there to begin with.  In all likelihood, the python had belonged to the previous owner, according to animal control officers.

The python is currently held at the Anne Arundel County animal control facility

A dog in Japan is quite religious!  Every day, Conan heads to the temple with his master and  mimicks his owner's praying ritual at the temple.

Pastor Joei Yoshikuni says that Conan usually goes through an entire prayer routine.  by sitting on his hind legs and joining his paws for prayer.

News of his praying Chihuahua has spread quickly and now the Buddhist temple receives a huge number of tourists. 

Yoshikuni is now also trying to teach Conan meditation.

Fleas on your pets can be a really big annoyance.  These little pests begin to come out when the weather rises above 65 degrees and love humidity.
