Congressman Fossella DUI Arrest

Virginia police claims that Congressman Vito Fossella was driving under the influence on Thursday morning and took him into custody.

The New York congressman will hold a news conference on Friday at 1 pm to explain what happened.  His court appearance  to face the charges is scheduled for May 12.

Fossella was elected in 1997 and servers on the House Energy and Commerce Committee.  He was also a New York City Council member from 1994 to 1997.

Bill Clinton Angering African Americans?

Congressman James Clyburn from the South did an interview on Thursday evening in which he said Bill Clinton is really angering the African American community with the comments that he made during the South Carolina primaries.

After those elections, Bill Clinton compared Barack Obama's win to Jesse Jackson's win in the state during the 1980's. Jackson did not go on to get the Democratic nominiation.  Clyburn claims that Bill Clinton is therefore dissing Obama because he is black.

Bill Clinton claimed has always claimed that he is not the one  playing the race card but that the Obama campaign does.

Unfortunately for Hillary Clinton, James Clyborn is an undeclared superdelegate who may vote for Obama at the Democratic Party Convention in August.

Questions Raised About McCain's Disability Payments

Questions are being raised by the Los Angeles Times regarding the disability payments presidential hopeful John McCain receives.  McCain receives a disability pension because of injuries suffered while a prisoner of war in Vietnam.

The L.A. Times reports that McCain receives close to $50,000 in disability pension each year.  He was shot down, captured & tortured for close to five years in a Hanoi prison camp. If he is disabled, the Times says he couldn't possibly be president of the United States.

Supporters of McCain's pension say that Franklin D. Roosevelt was also disabled.  They point out that the L.A. Times is wrong in claiming that the Republican candidate shouldn't get the benefit because he was able to hike the Grand Canyon.  And what medical qualifications does the L.A. Times have any way?

Critics of McCain's disability pension seem few and far between.

The famous UFO's have returned to Phoenix, Arizona.  Unidentified lights were observed in Phoenix in 1997 and now many people saw them again two days ago.

Witnesses in Phoenix claim that they could observe 5 red lights that seemed to move in changing formations.  The lights then slowly disappeared as jets moved  towards the UFO's

A spokesperson for the local military base claims that there were no Air Force aircraft in the sky on that evening.  Watch The Phoenix UFO  Video

Airlines Criticize Fingerprint Plan

The Federal government is planning to order all airlines to take fingerprints from foreigners prior to them leaving the United States.

Critics of this new plan say that it will cost airlines over $2 billion over the next ten years to get the program up and running.  The airlines also criticize this new plan because it would cause long lines at the check-in counters.

Foreigners' fingerprints are already taken by the Department of Homeland Security when foreigners arrive in the United States.  This is done so that the government can keep track of potential terrorists.
