Jose Canseco, a former baseball star who made multi-millions during his
career, may be having some financial problems. The star told 'Inside Edition' that he didn't see why he should continue making payments on his $2.5 million mansion in
Encino, California.
The Inside Edition piece on Canseco aired last night. During the interview, the baseball star claims that the financial "troubles" stem from multimillion dollar
divorce settlements. But, Canseco also claims that obviously he is not in the same situation as ordinary Americans who have their homes
foreclosed. His top income year during his baseball career was $6 million.
Canseco was once an
American League MVP. Other than the Inside Edition interview, the Canseco camp has refused to comment further on the foreclosure.
