Time Magazine Cover Starts Military Controversy

The cover of the latest Time magazine seems to be sparking some controversy. The April 28th feature story shows the United States soldiers who raised the flag at Iwo Jima lifting up a tree instead of a flag. The cover's text states "As you can probably imagine, this cover is extremely controversial, especially within military circles, veterans and their families. Critics of the cover claim that the Iwo Jima was a United States historical picture of America's triumph over Japan in World War II and altering it is extremely offensive.
Supporters of Time Magazine say that people get worked up over nothing and need to just get over it. You be the judge!
