The advantages to an online education are many. There is no commuting, fixed schedules or other problems that are disadvantages of traditional college degrees. Online education also allow for a flexible schedule and you can learn at your own pace and total freedom.

Single parents don’t need to make changes to their daycare schedule through online education. They can pursue a degree and still keep their current schedules.

A college degree has become an extremely expensive endeavor but does it always pay?

Based on College Board statistics, a college graduate earns approximately $20,000 more per year than the high school graduate. After all, it is common sense that higher the education, higher the chances for earning a handsome salary.

It's fact that college graduates earn more money than high school graduates because high profile jobs are for people with good education and related experience.

Observe any graph charts related to degrees and earnings. You will see that higher the degree, the higher your earnings. Simply put, if you decide to go to College, you have a better chance to land on a job that pays more rather than remaining a high school graduate and earn less.

Don't let anyone tell you that a college degree is a waste of money and time...

MIT now has 1800 courses you can download from their website. You can watch demo videos or download lecture notes to your computer, all for free!

However, you can't get a degree by doing so but perhaps you can impress your friends with what you learn such as aerospace engineering.
